It is awesome what the developers have been able to make out of an old clay pit -
and in a relatively short space of time also.
The ethos behind the project is extremely commendable.
The project has been designed to attract people of all ages, and there is especially
a lot of encourage for young people through school and individual projects to get
them motivated, involved and to think about the broader issues.
It is a relaxing and enjoyable place to stroll around
They have special in-shade parking for people with dogs!
Not so positive
It’s a long way to go to get there!
I have been to real jungles and the Biomes, although very impressive just didn’t
quite do it for me.
Although went at a quiet time, I still had to queue 45 minutes to go to to the top
of the jungle Biome - it must be a nightmare during peak holiday times.
Although you can turn your entrance ticket into an annual ticket at no extra cost
- I wouldn’t want to go back there for few years as I doubt there is significant
change, apart from the exhibitions.
